It sounds like some "pre scheduled" program running, like disk scan or
defrag, or disk cleanup.....doesn't sound like a virus program, as that
should give you some indication, that it is running. The default, may be
run every 90 days or something. Not sure where to look for this, I am
sure others will know better. Likely in the registry "run" section.
