Dear Mukesh,
I had a similar problem with Win95, OPTi 930 sound card. Only MIDI files
were not playing. I was using DOS drivers for the sound card as I did not
have Win95 drivers for the same. Subsequently, from the OPTi site on the web
I downloaded the driver and after installing the same everything is working
fine.
I suggest you get appropriate drivers for your sound card and not use the
Windows generic driver or the DOS driver of the sound card.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
(Dr. Ashok Bhiman)
M.D.
