Jim,

I found the best way to add text or anything to a picture is to type up
the text, select the text, and then put a text box around it. I also put
text boxes around all my pictures so it's easy to move them around.
You'll find text box under Insert, then Text Box. Make sure you format
the text box so that it is on top of your picture.

You can get rid of the line around the boxes by right clicking the
border, then select Format Text Box. Then click Line, Color and select
No Line.

Can Anyone help,
In MS WORD 2000, I insert a picture in a document and try to insert text
into the picture according to the 'HELP' instructions ie right click a
shape and select add text. when I do this the view jumps to print layout
and shows the picture with the text but, when I try to print it, it
prints the picture without the text.
What Gives?
I certainly appreciate any help,
Jim
