Rosanne,

The actual .wab file will always be blank. The proper way to move entries
between address books is to import / export them. Trying to copy your
address book is tricky, but this will work if you can't import / export.
First, open your address book, and click "File / Export / Address Book. Then
save it on your desktop as TEMP.wab. This will give you an empty .WAB file
on your desktop. Then go back into your real address book, click 'Edit /
Select All' , then click "Edit / Copy". Then open the TEMP.wab file on your
desktop and click "Edit / Paste". You will have to click "Ok" for every
single address that is being pasted, but you will have successfully copied
your address book. You will also end up with another single file on your
desktop named TEMP.wa~ . This is a copy - trash it. Now move your TEMP .wab
to your old hard drive, and open the old mail program. Open the address book
you just created (TEMP.wab), click 'edit / select all / copy'. Open the
address book in the old mail program and click 'edit / paste'. It's the hard
way to move addresses, but it does work. Good luck.
