After a major disaster which removed ALL the .exe files from my hard
drive (6.4gb) which has required the re-instalation of all programs, I
find Outlook98 will not install over Outlook97 as previous.
Have tried removing MS Office97 completely and removed all references to
it from the registry, and after reinstalling Office + SR-1, then
Outlook98, there has been no joy. Office97 remains untouched. It works
alright, but it is not nearly as easy to run as Office98.
Am seriously considering a clean install of Windows98 and starting from
scratch, but this seems a little drastic.
Has anyone had a similar experience, or have any suggestions to fix this
problem?.
