I have MS Money and MS Works that was already loaded in my computer when I bought it six years ago. I have never used them. Is it safe to delete them? I was told that it may be unsafe since sometimes programs that were already in the computer when you buy them are necessary to run the computer properly? It doesn't make sense to me but I am not that computer literate.

Also, I have Power DVD that was on the computer. There is supposed to be a security issue with that. I know I need it to view DVDs which I think I used it maybe one time to try it. I don't want to buy a program to view DVDs since I may never use it again. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you, I appreciate all your help and feedback.
