I'm using a Memorex CDRW.  I had similar problems with a program similar to
Adaptec's DirectCD made by NTI.  I upgraded from 64MB to 128MB and switched
to Adaptec DirectCD that I got along with Adaptec CD Creator 4.0 and all the
problems went away.  Which version of DirectCD are you using?
