Have you tried to drag the files on to the cd? Open up the cd in MY
Computer, find the file you want to copy and drag it over into the cd space.
Then on the left hand side is an option to copy these files to cd. If that
option does not show on the left, it is in the drop down list. Also, have
you tried another brand of cds?

I have been trying to copy certain files a CD for back up purposes up seem
to have hit a problem and I can't make out whether I'm doing something
wrong
or I have a dud batch of CDs.
I am running Windows XP pro, and I also have ahead nero on board. I get the
same message whether I use the Windows XP copying system or Nero. I ghet a
message as follows.
Winodows encountered a ptroblem when trying to copy this file. Wjhat do you
want Windows to do? Retry,. Skip or cancel.
Has anyone got any ideas?
I use CDs by Imation and Rivision.
