Jan,
From your description of your problems, I would suggest reformatting
your hard drive and starting all over. Sounds like you have a corrupted
Registry/corrupted files. If you have never reformatted, let the List know
and we will try to walk you thru it.

> Many times I made a clean install off wind.98, whenever I thought it was
not running smooth anymore.I work with a bootmanager (Bootit Direkt) and
have 3 partitions with wind 98.1 for myself,1 for my son, and 1 for burning
