Good Evening All,

After reading good reviews about the program, I recently added FastStone
Image Viewer (FSIV http://www.faststone.org/ ) to my kit of graphics tools.
It has a few nice options that my other graphics programs which include
Adobe Photoshop Elements, IrfanView, Microsoft Photo Editor, Paint for
Win9x, Paint for WinXP and Google's Picasa2 lack. No one program does it all
and each has areas where it excels when compared to the others, so generally
speaking I find myself use a combination of the above to accomplish a
desired task.

In any case, while acquainting myself with FSIV the other evening, I played
around with putting together a slideshow with an embedded audio track to
create an interesting yet simple multimedia presentation. Things worked out
pretty well and I was able to produce an unexpectedly nice show, especially
given the fact I was using freeware for the most part.

Thinking I'd like to share the fruit of my labors with a few family members,
I looked for a way to save the slideshow as self-contained executable file
that I could easily share with others. The sad news is that I simply
couldn't figure out just how to get that job done. Frustrated but
undeterred, I Goggle'd the question looking for answers. No easy answers
popped up, but I did find a forum where the question had been asked and
discussed. Hmmmmmmmm, I thought, light at the end of the tunnel, but
unfortunately the person who posted the question originally posted again
saying he had figured out how to do it and left it at that without sharing
just how he did it. with other forum members.

Can anyone tell me how and if it's possible to save a FastStone Slideshow?

As always, thanks in advance for your comments, advice and recommendations.
