As I said before, if you are using MSIE 4 or greater, you can select a
graphic while in an HTML page, e.g. browsing on the web, right click
and select SET A WALLPAPER and this will set that graphic as your wall
paper no mater what kind of extention it is including jpg. Active
desktop is ~not~required.

Ok Win95(a) cannot display .jpg files as wallpaper
UNLESS
You have installed IE4+ - Active Desktop
Then in your Display Properties you can turn Active Desktop on, this
enables
you to have .bmp, .jpg, .htm(l) files as your wallpaper.
The same applies to Win95(b) (open to correction)
