There is not enough information here, but maybe your friend is trying to
'transfer' the resume via an on-line application form.
When you save a Web page as Web archive, the Web page saves this information
in Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension HTML (MHTML) format with a .MHT file
extension. All relative links in the Web page are remapped and the embedded
content is included in the .MHT file. The absolute references or hyperlinks
on the Web page remain unchanged and the .MHT file is viewed using Internet
Explorer.
Perhaps your friend could save the resume as a word 'doc' and email it.

Received this from a friend and need an answer please..
I am trying to apply for an online work-at-home job w/NTI, for disabled
people. When I try to transfer my resume in My Documents, I get a report
stating
can't use "extension mht". I don't have a clue where to go from here. Can
you
give me any advice? I'm quite the compute illiterate. Thank you in advance,
any help appreciated.
