She did not embed the pictures in the message she sent you.
The little "X" means your computer can't find them. ORRR,
It "could" also mean you and your friend use e-mail programs
that do not talk to each other properly or "play nice"...

One of my friends sends me lovely pictures (she has printed them out) but all I ever get on my PC is an empty box with a little red
"X" in the top LH corner.  What am I lacking?
