In the past few days, my AVG 'paid' 9.0 has been asking for a restart 
each time it updates.  It has never done this before.  I suspect maybe a 
virus has crept in?  What do you all think?

It is impossible for me to tap a Housecall scan now; the download has 
gone 'wayyy beyond my poor old dial-up speed (maximum of 52 Kbps).   So 
what can I do to verify this?
