Cannot believe this! I lost the ability to drag icons across the
desktop. No explanation??? Additionally, I get the following message in
a dialog box everytime I open Word97:

        "This document could not be registered. It will not be possible
to create links from other documents to this document.

                                OK"

Sure enough the copy, cut, and paste functions are severely compromised
to the point they are useless. I re-installed Word97--no effect. I then
re-installed Windows 95b--still no effect.

Both problems appeared simultaneously. Any ideas???
