I had a problem with the Registry. I lost the entire HD. And I have to
reinstall everything.
Would you please help me informing actions I should take when installing
software after a clean-up ?
I will have to erase - no formatting - all software from the HD. (I have
almost 200 Mb of data I have no way to bakup - so I can not format the HD. )
I would love to have the HD completly clean (only my 200 Mb of data and
what else ?) before beginning software installation.
Would you please recommend a software installation order. For example: fisrt
CleanSweep, them Office 97, then ... (I have in my machine: Windows 95B, IE
4.0, Office 97 Professional, McAfee Anti Virus, Norton Utilities 2.0, Lotus
Organizer 2.0, PaintShop Pro, PointCast 2.0 and WinZip.) I do believe I have
already downloaded patches and the toys too. They are here somewhere in the
zip disks.
The clue could mention even how to build a safe boot disk.
Thank you in advance and regards,
