Robert, Check your MSDos.sys file in the root directly. You will
probably find an entry "BootMenu=1". If so either delete this entry or
change it to "BootMenu=0". You will have to change the attributes from
"Hidden and Read only" to archive to do this and don’t forget to change
it back after you have finished.

I'm running Win 98 SE....
Every time I boot up the screen goes black and i'm asked to choose
a boot up selection...normal, etc. If I do nothing 18 seconds later
the
boot up continues to another identical screen...If I still do nothing
the
machine will boot up normally.  True this is just an aggravation, but
any advice here would be appreciated.
