Yes,you could try,but I doubt that you would actually recognize the 
threat.I would rather rely on a good AV or anti-malware resident 
scanner,obviously kept well up-to-date. :)

Then again,there are much better ways to keep your system clean
or to run a clean system.
One eg would be to use Sandboxie http://www.sandboxie.com/
I know there are many other methods and at some point I will post
a few different options.

It's only useful if you want to see which Classes or applets are being
loaded and for debug purposes.If there are errors you can search for the
reason or contact Sun Java.

Can this be used to check if any malevolent Java applets slipped through?
