this looks like the classic symptom of spyware. is WINPATROL a program that you installed? some spywares act in the guise of an "antispyware" program to dupe the user into buying their program, so I was wondering if that was he case of winpatrol. If you have windows XP, you can roll your computer back to an earlier date through system restore. Or else, If you are running XP service pack 2, you can download windows defender from the microsoft website. It works pretty good. Good luck

I have a weird program trying to install itself on my computer but WINPATROL is alerting me.
The program is " %1/S%3" , the company is " %1/S " ??????????????
Does anyone know anything about this?? I keep refusing it.
Could it be from " user-service-manuals" ??
