Dell XPS, P2, 128 RAM, Win 98, NC 4.72, MSIE 5.0
This is a message on behalf of my son, who cannot access the Internet.
The browsers have been removed and reinstalled with no success. When
trying to open Communicator, after dialing in, error message "Netscape
is unable to locate the server pacbell.prodigy.net. Please check server
name and try again." SBC Pacbell Tech support was called, but they said
they had no idea what the problem could be.
When he tries to open MSIE, this message "Cannot locate server" appears.
I give up, what's the fix for these problems? I've tried looking at the
Netscape Communicator site, Google, but I can't see the answer. But then
I could be reading the messages wrong.
