Although a cd looks like a drive with folders it is not really a file
system. Its written in one of several encoding methods. While one or more
encoding methods may support some type of security, a google search only
turned up what I was going to suggest anyway, which is to use compression
like Winzip to zip the contents up into one or more files then use the
compression program's security features to password protect it so it can't
be unzipped without the password.

Apparently the windows cd-r cd-rw standards do not implement a password
protection for the cd.

It there any way to put some type of security on a CD before you burn it so
that you would need a password or something to open it.
Thank you for any info on this.
