Hi Group,
Having a problem with Internet Explorer 6. I've seen Homepage hijackers send you to other pages like about.com and porn sites, but I have a situation here where it just shuts down I.E. completly. And its not all sites, if I go to Yahoo, Microsoft or a few other sites it comes up for about 4 seconds and then I E closes and I'm looking at my desktop. Anybody hear of this before ?
I've tried to google this, phrasing it several different ways to no avail, I've ran McAfee, websweeper, spybot, highjackthis finding nothing,
Was running Windows XP SP1, downloaded SP 2 (from a disc because i couldn't go to Microsoft) hoping this might help and possibly repair IE 6, Nothing. Dell computer on a small peer to peer network, other computers not affected
Any help from anyone would be appreciated, Thanks in advance
