Rick Glazier Writes in reply to Jack's answer:
I tried this yesterday TO send in my own answer... (I did not.)
It _seems_ "OK" but did not work. The files are not recognized
by the mail box listing as even being there. You must construct
the "mail box tree" file structure on the target computer BY USING
Outlook Express, and then inject the "full files" into the Explorer
directory to over-write the "empty files" that were just set up...
Jack's idea would work for archiving them, and restoring them to
the SAME computer, but does not work for moving them to a
different computer. UNLESS: >>>
The mail box names MUST appear on BOTH computers
BEFORE you move files...
Note: The logs, and other files will be wrong, but I did not carry
it out that far... Also: After you are finished, It might be
impossible to keep the two computers synchronized "forever"
no matter what you try. (With-in reason.)

One of the computers has to go to college this fall and I would like to
save
all the e-mail messages on that machine to be transfered to another
computer.
