Mark asked about changing a range of negative numbers to
positive in Excel.

Dean suggested using the absolute value function ABS to do
the job.

How about using Edit/Replace and looking for - and then not
replacing it with anything?

Done this way it doesn't involve a function or using an
extra column to get the job done.

It doesn't seem very "mathematical" though. Are there
likely to be problems if it is done this way?

Regards

Tony
