You will need to purchase Winfax Pro 9.0 http://www.symantec.com/winfax/.
Do not get Talkworks as it is a fax and voice answering / message center.

After installing Winfax go into Program Setup...Receive ...
and check
<Have the modem listen for Faxes on incoming calls.>

I use Talkworks  and I am pretty sure that Winfax is the same in this
regard but to be absolutely sure I suggest you go into Symantec tech
support chat area and ask a pre purchase question.
