Some screen savers install as full-blown programs, complete with providing
an entry under "Install/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel. Check there
first.

If you don't see the one you want to get rid of there, then you need to
know that screen savers are pretty ordinary executables, except that the
binary file has a .scr extension instead of .exe . So you can go to Search
| Files or Folders and look for files named "*.scr" under the Windows
folder. Delete the *.scr file, and the screen saver cannot run, and won't
be listed as an available choice.
