I have a Compaq, presario 1170 computer.  It pops up about once every
day or so, asking if I want to download a recovery DVD.  It will only let
me go so far and then it just quits.  It doesn't freeze, it just doesn't
respond any more.  How can I get through the whole process without
these problems? I got your link from The Computer Lady.
