To completely eliminate the print job from memory you need to pull the power cord and wait about 15 seconds before you plug it back in. That will clear the printer's memory.
>If you have background printing on, the data is already in your printer so you can't "cancel" it. Some printers have a cancel button. Usually, if you turn your printer off it will stop (although my lexmark laser still has it in memory when i turn it on again!).
