Do you, by any chance, have NSW or Norton Anti-virus installed on your system?
I had this exact same problem with my log on sites several months ago. I emailed the administrators of these site and they also could log in, using my ID and PWs, but I couldn't! Turned out my problem was with NSW (firewall and anti-virus) 2005! After dumping Norton and installing AVG I have had no more problems since! We are on a router and I also use ZA (Zone Alarm) both are excellent protection. I hope you solve your problem soon...or, by now, already have it solved...Good Luck!
