Usually I have Task Scheduler do my Defrag and Scan Disk.

Looking over the Defrag log recently, it didn't look like it was actually
doing the Defrag so I decided to run it manually.

I shut down the programs and Virus Checker that were running and Defrag.

It started but would only get to 1% and then it would go back to 0% and
start all over. It did this continually until I figured something was
wrong.

I have Win 98SE.

I have Norton Utilities and heard that sometimes that is a problem.

Anyone have any ideas what is going on or any suggestions?
