Hi,
To answer your questions. Right click on my computer and choose
properties. This will show you what version you have. Currently there
are 95 with no letter at the end. This is the upgrade. Next there is
95 with an A at the end, this is OSR1(generally the upgrade with service
pack 1 applied), next there is 95 with a B at the end, this is OSR2, and
2.1. Finally there is now a OSR2.5. In Microsoft knowledge base
Article ID: Q178972 it says "OSR2.5 is version 950C of Windows 95". The
article goes on to say that the primary difference between B and C is
the inclusion of Internet Explorer 4.01. As to where to find it, it can
only be purchased through original equipment manufactures, and therefore
will fall under the same rules as OSR2 (95B) (can only be purchased with
a new system, motherboard, or (i think) hard drive).
Hope this helps,
Donald Gaither
