Dan,

I have successfully moved dbx files in and out of OE, and if memory serves,
this should work...

Copy your personal dbx files to somewhere safe.
Open OE and recreate all the personal folders you originally had.
Where you place them makes no difference, but you must name each folder
exactly the same as the dbx file you need to restore (capitals,
spaces, etc.).
Reboot, then copy your personal dbx files back to their respective
locations, which should look something like this:
C:\WINDOWS\ApplicationData\Identities\{5BG0A2D6-D201-41B5-8DH7-7DR9O4D2C8270
JB}\Microsoft\OutlookExpress
You should find yourself - "replacing existing files? " (yes to each).
Reboot and good luck!

Al Thompson
