Hi Lew,
I'm sure your advice is appreciated, but be careful about the links you post.
At least I hope you don't use this on a regular basis.
The Softonic link and download will result in downloading the Softonic Downloader,
which in turn downloads the Unlocker file PLUS an install of Babylon Toolbar.
While not malicious ,it's not something you may want.
Avoid downloading from sites like that and in stead go to the author's site
http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/
Many other sites pull this trick ,including CNet, BrotherSoft ,Download.com etc ,although sometimes they do
list a direct link to the author's site and file .
Just be aware of their "antics". If they use a downloader ,you're almost sure it's bundled with unwanted software
not related to the file you want.
The exception might be Microsoft ,but other "big" names should be scrutinized as well ,including Adobe .McAfee ,AVG etc

Diane,
You have a locked file. I had that once.
Try "unlocker-x64.en.softonic.com/"
Good luck,
