Ladies and gents, I need all of you to put on your thinking caps and help me
solve this problem.

I get knocked off line after I have been on exactly 5 hours, and then exactly 5
hours after that. A person at the telephone company has been helping me and did
extensive testing and says it's not the phone line. My ISP insists that they
have nothing that would be causing it. So now I'm assuming it's a setting
somewhere on my computer. I have searched everywhere and can't find anything
that would be causing it. Any ideas anyone???

I've ruled out Control Panel/Internet/Connections/Dialup Settings/Advanced.
There are two check boxes there that you can set to make it disconnect but
neither of them are checked.

Any help would be much appreciated.
