Unfourtenatly there is not WinPopUp on NT. Exactly same question was asked
even in same
day in estonian usnet. Their recommendations with my comments:
StickIt 2.0 NXi Communications http://www.nxicom.com/stkmain.htm
Very small download <100KB. Only simple messages, not additional features.
Free for less than 5 computers.
Real PopUp Can be download http://www.photair.de/photair_down.htm .
Original homepage
is disappeared. Freeware. Can be set sveral sates lik -I,m away - do not
distrub . Small when
minimized (<460KB). Works with NetBeui protocoll and for working on NT want
that Messenger
service is disabled (if you use NT server not recommended).
NetWriter http://netwriter.narod.ru/
Also freeware and similar faetures tahn pervoius but takes more memory. As
possibilty set up
administrator.
For more LAN messenger look tucows mirrors under Communications -> Chat-
messenger
