A number of subscribers posted their problems having computers hang at
"Windows is Shutting Down" and not changing to "It is Now Safe to Turn
Off Your Computer". The oft-suggested remedy was to download Microsoft's
corrective patch.

Installing this patch did not solve the problem for me. Installing
freeware Exits 95/98 did the trick. However, I still have a problem. If
I click "Restart" the computer hangs at "Windows is Shutting Down". Any
solution?
