I am using Avast antivirus and am very happy with it. I have one minor problem which I hoped someone could help with. When I am downloading files, Avast is checking them as they are downloaded. It puts a "scanner message" at the bottom of the screen which sometimes covers as much as the bottom 1/3 of the screen. The message is always "on top", thus in the way of doing any other work while downloading. I realize this is a small price to pay for such excellent protection, but wondered if anyone knew a way to hide those messages. I have looked but can't find it.
Thanks, Bob Lendrim
