I've installed Windows ME on my test system - doing a full install to a
new partition. While Windows 98SE runs fine with the 32MB on this
system, Windows ME is very noticably slower - accessing the disk much
more frequently than the older OS. About all I've done so far is use
Media Player and Internet Explorer. Does anyone have any suggestions on
how to speed this up or does Windows ME require more memory than Windows
98 for the same functions? This is a basic system with 200MHz Pentium,
1.5 GB partitions with about 800MB free for each.
