Up until six to eight weeks ago I was able to open up PowerPoint Shows in Internet Explorer but now when I try to open one up I get the following message:

"This file does not have a program association with it for performing this action.
Create an association in the folder options control panel".

I have tried to figure this out but cannot. Can anybody out there help me? I have Windows XP.
