Jannean:
I don't know how your file ended up as a desktop icon/shortcut, but it's
easy to put it where you want. If the icon is a shortcut, you can delete
it, though it would be helpful if you first found out where that file
really resides - ie, use Win Explorer search or Find to find it. Or,
right click on the desktop icon, then select properties. If a two-tabbed
box pops up, click "Find Target." That will do two things - take you to
where the real file resides, and let you know the icon is merely a
shortcut and can be deleted (highlight it and hit the "Delete" key, or
right click on it and select "delete."
