If the two PCs can't be easily networked together, by far the best way is
to remove the hard disk from the old PC and install it as an additional
drive in the new PC (unless the new PC is a laptop it should have a bay for
the drive, and moving it is relatively easy to do). Once the files are
copied from this drive to the appropriate drive(s) of the new PC, the old
drive can be moved back to the old PC. Cheers -
