I am running WinXP Pro, AMD 1600 processor with 256Mb DDR memory.

I am trying to backup my "Documents and Settings" folder to an external
firewire SimpleTech SimpleDrive Deluxe 20Gb harddrive.

The process goes along nicely and almost completes, but hits a snag and
produces the error message "Cannot copy NTUSER: It is being used by
another person or program.  Close any program that might be using this
file and try again."

According to Contol Panel - I am the only user, guest account has not
been turned on, and have administrative rights.

All things running in the taskbar have been shut down.  Ctrl-Alt-Del
produces only one application running, StartMenu, and that has been shut
down.

Any ideas of how I might be able to make a copy of this folder?
