By putting the resolution in the "icon bar" (actually called Systray) you
will be using up valuable "resources" from your computer.

There is also an option to put an icon in the icon bar. Setting this allows
you
to quickly change resolution without bringing up the desktop properties
dialog
by right clicking the icon and selecting the desired resolution.
