Some more information if you please. Is this a *brand name* machine, if so,
what brand and model. Do you know what the power supply rating is? Is this
an older case/power supply or brand new? There is a voltage sensing circuit
called "power good" that will cause your machine to either not complete a
POST or that could cause a reboot if the power dipped to low during
operation. If this is a fully tricked out multimedia machine with an
underrated or weak power supply, this could be the cause.

When you are having the problem, can you determine what the machine is
doing? Is the hard drive active, the cd-rom running, is the floppy being
accessed etc.

Send us more information if you can.

|I have been experiencing this problem for awhile now hoping that it
|would go away, but it hasn't. This problem happens on and off line. The
|computer shuts down by itself and starts to reboot, sometimes as many as
|5-10 times in a 1 hour session, and then sometimes doesn't do it for
|long periods of time. Thanks for any help with this problem. P200MMX,
