I downloaded this little program. It did, indeed, find hardware, software,
and some serial and key numbers. It found all the hardware except my
ancient (in computer years) Logitech PageScan sheet feed scanner. Probably
missed it because it shares the parallel port with the printer.
I was amazed at the number of software references it found and
listed. There is stuff identified that I don't even remember. There are
two and three versions of the same program listed. There are things that
were "deleted" years ago......I seriously need to bite the bullet and clean
up the still excellent Dell 333mhz PII.
The last time I did so it was a hassle. Since it was originally Windows 95
upgraded to 98 then to ME, I had to install all three to get it up again
after formatting and partitioning. Then, all those dadgum programs to
reinstall. I have the executables for all of them, but it sure is a mess.
Any real good suggestions?
