I need some help.

After surfing the web, the next day when I turned on my computer I
noticed some new icons on my desk top. They look like Internet explorer
icons, with names like gambling casinos and college courses. I delete
them from the desk top. Also deleted them from my Favorite folder but
they come back the next time I reboot.

When I place my cursor on them I get the following URL:
http://www.motor-search.info/.

I have run Spybot and it didn't turn up this URL or any cookies.

It keeps trying to change my start page but thankfully I have Start Page
Guard and it tells me when this happens.

How can I find where this URL is residing in my computer and how do I get
rid of it for good?

What kind of program do I need to prevent this type of thing from
happening in the future?

I am running Windows XP and have Norton anti virus and Zone One firewall.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Lew
