Since upgrading to AP5.5 I can't use the rubber stamp (cloning) tool! It
keeps prompting me to Alt-Click to select the area to be cloned, I do this
but with no result!! I have reinstalled AP but the problem persists. I have
been through the manuals and the several books I have on AP but I can't find
a solution!!! Any assistance will be very appreciated.

Mick, are you making sure that your clone source (where you ALT-CLICKED) is
not transparent and is of the same color model (RGB cannot clone from
indexed, etc).  Are you cloning from within the same image or from another
image, or another layer?
