Alan,
I assume you will be wiping out your C:\partition, which is where boot.ini
resides.
Yes, it will be wiped, also. Print out the listing of the boot.ini. It is
strait forward as to understanding how to repair it should it be changed. I
don't know if Millen has a boot.ini.
Maybe someone can elighten us.

I do not have Millen installed, but do have W98 and W2K. I have reinstalled
W98 while keeping W2k.
I kept a copy of boot.ini and replaced the new with the old after
reinstalling W98.
I don't know if or how to save the MBR, but I know that would also be a tool
if you have problems (fdisk /mbr).
Be sure you have an emergency boot disk for W2k.
see "How to create a Bootable Disk for an NTFS partition"
by Microsoft Support Services: http://support.microsoft.com
In essence the article tells you to format a floppy and copy 3 files to it:
NTLDR, Boot.ini, NTdetect.com

God bless and have fun.
