Hi all,
I know that you can run ScanReg (Windows 98) after an F8 boot up at the
command prompt, and that this allows you to scan the registry but, more
importantly (for me at least!) to also restore a previous registry version.
I also know that you can run Scanregw once windows has started to at least
scan the registry and to create a backup at that moment.
Two Questions:
1. In the Windows version, scanregw, is there some way to restore a previous
registry version, or only to save a current version. I do not see any
options given that would allow a restore.
2. In the DOS version, scanreg, is there some way to increase the number of
versions that are saved (currently 5) to, say 10 versions?
Thanks to all.
Michael
