  All of my XP systems have been running SP2 for some time now -- and some
of the utilities I rely on are, I think, more likely to have encountered
conflicts than those of the average home user.  Vendors of software that had
issues with SP2 have now had plenty pf time to release updates.
  I'd say "Go for it".
